Illinois High School Lacrosse - Geneva overwhelms Vernon Hills

In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Geneva Vikings lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-1 triumph over the Vernon Hills Cougars.
The Vikings (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record. In their last challenge, Grant Community held off Palatine (Palatine, IL), 17-7, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars clash with the Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 12. Vernon Hills will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 18-10 non-league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL).
