In Friday's non-league outing, the host Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Northside Patriots.
The Yellow Jackets (4-12) will now prepare for their outing against Lowndes (Valdosta, GA). The Vikings go into the non-league outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Lowndes got by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 1-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Carrollton Trojans (Carrollton, GA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, April 16. Northside will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Trojans go into the outing with a 13-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Alexander (Douglasville, GA).
