The Altoona Railroaders the host Fall Creek Crickets softball squad by a count of 7-5 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Railroaders meet the Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Altoona will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Chieftains go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI).
The Crickets (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Salem (West Salem, WI). The Panthers go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, West Salem held off Arcadia (Arcadia, WI), 14-4, in a league challenge.
