Connecticut High School Softball - Ansonia succumbs to Woodland Regional

In Friday's league test, the Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT) softball squad overwhelmed the host Ansonia Chargers (Ansonia, CT), by a tally of 25-2.

Next, the Hawks clash with the Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass test, on Monday, April 14. Woodland Regional will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Bulldogs go into the test with a 0-2 record after their 15-3 league loss to Derby (Derby, CT).

The Chargers (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Wildcats go into the Naugatuck Valley - Copper test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Seymour prevailed over Wolcott (Wolcott, CT), 10-4, in a non-league test.
