The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR) and the host Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), observed Genoa Central's softball team notch a victory over Ashdown by a final score of 18-0.

The Dragons (15-5) will now prepare for their bout against Junction City (Junction City, AR). The Dragons go into the non-league bout with a 6-10 record. In their last bout, Junction City was routed by Minden (Minden, LA), 24-4, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) in a 3A Region 7 bout, on Monday, April 14. Ashdown will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Fouke (Fouke, AR).
