In Friday's non-league test, the Chelsea Hornets (Chelsea, AL) softball squad the host Auburn Tigers (Auburn, AL), by a tally of 6-4.

Next, the Hornets clash with the Orange Beach Makos (Orange Beach, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, April 12. Chelsea will attempt to advance on its 24-11 season record. The Makos go into the test with a 24-1 record after their 8-2 non-league win over McCracken County (Paducah, KY).

With the loss, Auburn moves to 18-13 on the season. The Tigers travel to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL) to encounter the Makos in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 12.
