Banks Braves (Banks, OR) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR), 3-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Banks improves its record to 4-4 on the year. The Braves travel to Corbett (Corbett, OR) to play the Cardinals in a 3A Special District 1 game on Saturday, April 12. The Cardinals enter the game with a record of 1-1.

The Gladiators now hold a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madras for a 4A Tri-Valley game on Monday, April 14. Gladstone will play a White Buffaloes squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Summit (Bend, OR). The White Buffaloes record now stands at 2-6.
