Indiana High School Softball - Clay City bounces Barr-Reeve

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Clay City Eels softball team scored a tight 5-1 win over the Barr-Reeve Vikings.
The Eels (3-1) will now prepare for their match against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers come into the Southwestern Indiana match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Shakamak was routed by Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN), 16-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Vikings confront the Linton-Stockton Miners (Linton, IN) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. Barr-Reeve will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Miners come into the match with a 2-1 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Northview (Brazil, IN).
