The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Borrego Springs Rams (Borrego Springs, CA) and the visiting St. Joseph Academy Crusaders (San Marcos, CA), observed Borrego Springs's softball team get by St. Joseph Academy by a tally of 10-8.

The Rams (5-5) will now prepare for their bout against Warner (Warner Springs, CA). The Wildcats go into the Manzanita bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Warner tipped Ocean View Christian (San Diego, CA), 8-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA) in a Pacific bout, on Tuesday, April 15. St. Joseph Academy will attempt to advance on its 2-7 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 9-4 league win over La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, CA).
