The Botkins Trojans softball team scored 23 runs and held the host Perry Commodores to 0 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shawnee for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. Botkins will confront a Indians team coming off a 17-14 non-league win over Crestview (Convoy, OH). The Indians record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Perry moves to 0-4 on the season. The Commodores travel to Upper Scioto Valley (McGuffey, OH) to confront the Rams in a Northwest Central battle on Monday, April 14. The Rams come into the battle with a record of 1-4. Upper Scioto Valley lost 15-7 in their recent non-league battle against Ottawa-Glandorf (Ottawa, OH)
