In Friday's non-league match, the host Riverside Warriors softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Buffalo Bison.
The Warriors (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Steubenville (Steubenville, OH). The Big Red come into the non-league match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Steubenville nipped Edison (Richmond, OH), 18-3, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Bison confront the Huntington Highlanders (Huntington, WV) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 16. Buffalo will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Highlanders come into the match with a 2-12 record after their 21-3 league loss to Cabell Midland (Ona, WV).
