Louisiana High School Softball - New Iberia bounces Carencro

The New Iberia Yellowjackets softball team scored 25 runs and held the visiting Carencro Bears to 0 in the Yellowjackets league win on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 5-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vermilion Catholic for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. New Iberia will confront a Eagles team coming off a 22-5 non-league win over St. Martinville (St. Martinville, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, Carencro moves to 3-11 on the season. The Bears travel to Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to confront the Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 6-14.
