Minnesota High School Softball - Lester Prairie can't get by Cleveland

The Cleveland Clippers edged the visiting Lester Prairie Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Clippers meet the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 14. Cleveland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-0 season record. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton (Janesville, MN).

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Springfield (Springfield, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Springfield edged Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop (Winthrop, MN), 20-1, in a league challenge.
