Missouri High School Softball - East Newton bounces Versailles

In Friday's non-league match, the host East Newton Patriots softball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Versailles Tigers.
The Patriots (6-4) will now prepare for their match against Skyline (Urbana, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 11-0 record. In their last match, Skyline gained a win over Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO), 10-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Lakeland Vikings (Deepwater, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 11. Versailles will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Vikings go into the match with a 3-6 record after their 21-3 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, MO).
