In Friday's non-league match, the host Fair Grove Eagles softball team scored a nice 17-2 victory over the West County Bulldogs.

The Eagles (10-2) will now prepare for their match against East Newton (Granby, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, East Newton was routed by Warsaw (Warsaw, MO), 5-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO) in a non-league match, on Friday, April 11. West County will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Mountaineers go into the match with a 12-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Lamar (Lamar, MO).
