The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the McMinnville Grizzlies (McMinnville, OR) and the host Lake Oswego Lakers (Lake Oswego, OR), observed McMinnville's softball team get by Lake Oswego by a tally of 7-3.

The Grizzlies (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Westview (Portland, OR). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Westview was routed by Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR), 7-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Tigard Tigers (Tigard, OR) in a 6A Three Rivers bout, on Wednesday, April 16. Lake Oswego will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 5-4 non-league loss to Sunset (Portland, OR).
