Illinois High School Softball - Milford can't get by Salt Fork

The Salt Fork Storm edged the host Milford Bearcats softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Friday's league challenge.

Next, the Storm meet the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a Vermilion Valley challenge, on Monday, April 14. Salt Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Cornjerkers enter the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 12-0 non-league win over Georgetown-Ridge Farm (Georgetown, IL).

The Bearcats (7-2) will now prepare for their challenge against South Newton (Kentland, IN). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, South Newton edged Seeger (West Lebanon, IN), 7-6, in a non-league challenge.
