Illinois High School Softball - Olympia sneaks past Morton

The Olympia Spartans softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Morton Potters to 5 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.
The Spartans now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a Sangamo battle on Monday, April 14.
With the loss, Morton moves to 1-7 on the season. The Potters host Pekin (Pekin, IL) to confront the Dragons in a Mid-Illini battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Dragons come into the battle with a record of 6-3. Pekin lost 12-2 in their recent league battle against Washington (Washington, IL)
