Illinois High School Softball - Stevenson sneaks past New Trier

In Friday's non-league match, the host Stevenson Patriots softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the New Trier Trevians.
The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their match against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL). The Bulldogs come into the North Suburban match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Waukegan was nipped by Elgin (Elgin, IL), 23-6, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Trevians battle the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) in a Central Suburban - South match, on Tuesday, April 15. New Trier will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record.
