In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Northlake Christian Wolverines softball team scored a tight 6-4 victory over the St. Michael Warriors.
The Wolverines (10-12) will now prepare for their match against St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redstickers go into the non-league match with a 10-14 record. In their last match, St. Joseph's Academy tipped West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA), 14-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 12. St. Michael will attempt to better on its 19-11 season record. The Patriots go into the match with a 19-6 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA).
