In Friday's non-league match, the host Valley Lutheran Chargers softball team scored a tight 10-9 win over the Oakland Christian Lancers.
The Chargers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Merrill (Merrill, MI). The Vandals come into the non-league match with a 0-2 record.
