The Slinger Owls softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Oshkosh North Spartans to 8 in the Owls non-league win on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedarburg for a North Shore battle on Monday, April 14. Slinger will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Franklin (Franklin, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Oshkosh North moves to 3-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Manitowoc Lincoln (Manitowoc, WI) to confront the Ships in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Ships come into the battle with a record of 1-2. Manitowoc Lincoln lost 13-1 in their recent league battle against Green Bay Preble (Green Bay, WI)
