Indiana High School Softball - Union City bounces Southern Wells

April 11, 2025: Poneto, IN 46781

The Union City Indians softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Southern Wells Raiders to 2 in the Indians non-league win on Friday.

The Indians now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mississinawa Valley for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Union City will confront a Blackhawks team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Russia (Russia, OH). The Blackhawks record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Southern Wells moves to 0-2 on the season. The Raiders host Winchester Community (Winchester, IN) to confront the Golden Falcons in a non-league battle on Saturday, April 12. The Golden Falcons come into the battle with a record of 1-1. Winchester Community lost 11-1 in their recent non-league battle against South Adams (Berne, IN)
