In Friday's league test, the Springfield Blue Devils (Holland, OH) softball squad the visiting Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), by a tally of 9-7.

Next, the Blue Devils meet the Bowling Green Bobcats (Bowling Green, OH) in a Northern Lakes test, on Monday, April 14. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH). The Generals go into the Northern Lakes test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Anthony Wayne held off Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH), 9-0, in a non-league test.
