The Sunset Apollos softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Tigard Tigers to 4 in the Apollos non-league win on Friday.

The Apollos now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glencoe for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Sunset will confront a Crimson Tide team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Westview (Portland, OR). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Tigard moves to 4-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Lake Oswego (Lake Oswego, OR) to confront the Lakers in a 6A Three Rivers battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Lakers come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Lake Oswego lost 7-3 in their recent non-league battle against McMinnville (McMinnville, OR)
