The Beecher Bobcats softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Harvard Hornets to 0 in the Bobcats non-league win on Saturday.

The Bobcats now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 11. Beecher will encounter a Golden Warriors team coming off a 6-0 league win over Galesburg (Galesburg, IL). The Golden Warriors record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Harvard moves to 3-3 on the season. The Hornets host Sandwich (Sandwich, IL) to encounter the Indians in a Kishwaukee River battle on Monday, April 13. The Indians come into the battle with a record of 7-3. Sandwich won 11-5 in their recent league battle against Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL)
