In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Mapleton Mounties softball team scored a nice 23-3 win over the Crestline Bulldogs.

The Mounties (9-0) will now prepare for their match against St. Paul (Norwalk, OH). The Flyers come into the Firelands match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, St. Paul notched a victory over Perkins (Sandusky, OH), 13-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) in a Mid Buckeye match, on Monday, April 13. Crestline will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 22-2 non-league loss to Lake Center Christian (Hartville, OH).
