Illinois High School Softball - St. Bede bounces IC Catholic Prep

April 11, 2026: Peru, IL 61354

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) and the visiting IC Catholic Prep Knights (Elmhurst, IL), observed St. Bede's softball team get by IC Catholic Prep by a tally of 9-4.

The Bruins (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL). The Mustangs go into the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, Yorkville Christian was routed by Indian Creek (Shabbona, IL), 2-0, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the DePaul College Prep Rams (Chicago, IL) in a GCAC-White bout, on Monday, April 13. IC Catholic Prep will attempt to advance on its 9-2 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 18-2 league win over Rosary (Aurora, IL).
