The IMG Academy Ascenders baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks to 3 in the Ascenders non-league win on Tuesday.
With the win, IMG Academy upgrades its record to 16-1 on the season. The Ascenders host Jesuit (Tampa, FL) to battle the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Jesuit won 4-0 in their recent league challenge against Hillsborough (Tampa, FL)
With the defeat, Archbishop McCarthy falls to 12-7 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Stoneman Douglas (Parkland, FL) to battle the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Stoneman Douglas won 5-3 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL)
