Colorado High School Baseball - Centauri defeats Salida

April 12, 2022: La Jara, CO 81140

The Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) baseball trounced the visiting Salida Spartans (Salida, CO), 10-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Falcons play the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 3A/2A Intermountain contest, on Saturday, April 16. Centauri will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Mean Moose enter the contest with a 3-4 record after their 18-7 non-league win over Pueblo Centennial (Pueblo, CO).

The Spartans now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Manitou Springs for a 3A/2A Tri-Peaks contest on Saturday, April 16. Salida will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Jefferson Academy (Broomfield, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.
