The Huskies now possess a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denver Christian for a 2A/1A Mile High bout on Thursday, April 14. Highland will face a Thunder team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Byers (Byers, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 7-3.

Next, the Eagles face the Flatirons Academy Bison (Westminster, CO) in a 1A District 3 bout, on Saturday, April 16. Gilpin County will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Bison enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 20-6 non-league loss to Byers (Byers, CO).
