Massachusetts High School Baseball - Whittier RVT loses to Newburyport

The Newburyport Clippers crushed the visiting Whittier RVT Wildcats baseball team by a count of 9-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Clippers now possess a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Reading for a CAL Kinney bout on Saturday, April 16. Newburyport will face a Hornets team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Northeast Metro RVT (Wakefield, MA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

Next, the Wildcats face the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, MA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 13. Whittier RVT will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, MA).
