The Valley Vista Monsoon (Surprise, AZ) baseball trounced the visiting Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ), 8-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Monsoon encounter the Shadow Ridge Stallions (Surprise, AZ) in a 6A Southwest contest, on Thursday, April 14. Valley Vista will attempt to better on its 8-11 season record. The Stallions come into the contest with a 12-10 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Cibola (Yuma, AZ).
