Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Windham Eagles (Windham, ME), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sacopee Valley upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks host Mount View (Thorndike, ME) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league test on Monday, April 18. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 1-0.
With the defeat, Windham falls to 0-1 on the season. The Eagles travel to Deering (Portland, ME) to battle the Rams in a Class A South test on Wednesday, April 13. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-0.
