Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL), 4-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Piasa Birds confront the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Thursday, April 14. Southwestern will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 1-0 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).

The Comets now have a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hillsboro for a South Central challenge on Friday, April 15. Greenville will confront a Hiltoppers team coming off a 8-4 league win over Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Hiltoppers record now stands at 6-3.
