The Wheeling Park Patriots lacrosse team scored 8 points and held the visiting John Marshall Monarchs to 3 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Capital (Charleston, WV). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Capital was overwhelmed by George Washington (Charleston, WV), 15-4, in a non-league game.
The Monarchs (2-9) will now prepare for their game against Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-8 record.
