California High School Lacrosse - Santa Margarita drops to Mater Dei

The Santa Margarita Eagles lacrosse squad (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), was overwhelmed 18-3 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA)

Coming up next, the Monarchs confront the Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Mater Dei will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the contest with a 6-1 record after their 10-8 league win over Gilman (Baltimore, MD).

The Eagles now sport a 7-5 record. They play next when they host St. John Bosco for a Trinity contest on Thursday, April 14. Santa Margarita will confront a Braves squad coming off a 15-6 league win over Orange Lutheran (Orange, CA). The Braves record now stands at 7-2.
