Landrum Cardinals (Landrum, SC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Blue Ridge Fighting Tigers (Greer, SC), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals confront the Brashier Middle College Charter Bengal (Simpsonville, SC) in a AA Region 2 challenge, on Thursday, April 14. Landrum will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record. The Bengal enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Chesnee (Chesnee, SC).
The Fighting Tigers now possess a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Broome for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 15. Blue Ridge will confront a Centurions team coming off a 3-2 league win over Emerald (Greenwood, SC). The Centurions record now stands at 3-5.
