The Bangor Slaters routed the host Allentown Central Catholic Vikings softball squad by a final score of 16-1 in Tuesday's non-league battle.
The Slaters (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Nazareth Area (Nazareth, PA). The Blue Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Nazareth Area notched a victory over Easton Area (Easton, PA), 12-4, in a league battle.
The Vikings now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they host William Allen for a Eastern Pennsylvania Conference battle on Wednesday, April 13. Allentown Central Catholic will confront a Canaries squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to East Stroudsburg South (East Stroudsburg, PA). The Canaries record now stands at 0-4.
