The North DeSoto Griffins softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Buckeye Panthers to 1 in the Griffins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, North DeSoto moves its record to 18-5 on the year. The Griffins travel to Tara (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Trojans in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Trojans come into the game with a record of 5-7.
