The Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) softball routed the host Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA), 13-6 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout with a 2-6 record. In their last bout, Mount Vernon was routed by Mt. Baker (Deming, WA), 11-1, in a league bout.

The Lyncs now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, April 14. Lynden Christian will confront a Cubs squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 6-1.
