Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles (Zebulon, NC), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 13-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Lenoir for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. Princeton will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-1.

With the loss, East Wake Academy falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Vance Charter (Henderson, NC) to battle the Knights in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 13. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Vance Charter won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Franklin Academy (Wake Forest, NC)
