The Eureka Tornadoes softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Flinthills Mustangs to 9 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Eureka improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Tornadoes host Bluestem (Leon, KS) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Lions come into the game with a record of 6-1.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans (Cedar Vale, KS) in a South Central Border game, on Monday, April 18. Flinthills will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 16-1 league loss to West Elk (Howard, KS).
