The Gilbert Yellowjackets routed the visiting Kaynor Tech Panthers softball squad by a count of 22-9 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Yellowjackets (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Terryville (Terryville, CT). The Kangaroos go into the Berkshire battle with a 0-1 record.

The Panthers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bullard-Havens for a Connecticut Tech battle on Wednesday, April 13. Kaynor Tech will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to Platt RVT (Milford, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
