In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting St. Michael's Horsemen softball team scored a nice 20-5 win over the Pecos Panthers.
Coming up next, the Horsemen battle the West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) in a 3A District 2 outing, on Saturday, April 16. St. Michael's will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Dons enter the outing with a 6-9 record after their 9-2 league loss to Santa Fe Indian (Santa Fe, NM).
The Panthers (5-5) will now prepare for their outing against Logan (Logan, NM). The Longhorns enter the A/2A District 6 outing with a 0-11 record. In their last outing, Logan was routed by Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, NM), 23-3, in a league outing.
