Illinois High School Baseball - Sullivan defeats Arcola

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL) and the host Arcola Purple Riders (Arcola, IL), saw Sullivan's baseball squad knock off Arcola by a count of 7-2.

Coming up next, the Redskins play the Meridian Hawks (Macon, IL) in a battle, on Friday, April 14. Sullivan will attempt to move on its 8-4 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 14-8 league win over Tuscola (Tuscola, IL).

The Purple Riders now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a Lincoln Prairie battle on Friday, April 14. Arcola will play a Knights squad coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL). The Knights record now stands at 0-6.
