The Captain Shreve Gators baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting St. Mary Tigers to 2 in the Gators non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Gators (20-10) will now prepare for their match against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings go into the 5A District 1 match with a 11-14 record. In their last match, Airline by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 6-4, in a league match.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their match against Buckeye (Buckeye, LA). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 18-6 record. In their last match, Buckeye edged Bunkie (Bunkie, LA), 10-1, in a non-league match.
