The Hazen Highlanders baseball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Highline Pirates to 1 in the Highlanders non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Highlanders (4-8) will now prepare for their match against Othello (Othello, WA). The Huskies go into the non-league match with a 4-3 record. In their last match, Othello edged Ephrata (Ephrata, WA), 2-0, in a league match.
The Pirates (4-9) will now prepare for their match against Liberty (Issaquah, WA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 10-2 record. In their last match, Liberty was edged by Juanita (Kirkland, WA), 4-3, in a league match.
