The Purnell Swett Rams baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Heide Trask Titans to 9 in the Rams non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Rams (11-8) will now prepare for their match against South View (Hope Mills, NC). The Tigers go into the United Eight 3A/4A match with a 9-9 record. In their last match, South View by Western Harnett (Lillington, NC), 6-5, in a non-league match.
The Titans (11-5) will now prepare for their match against South Columbus (Tabor City, NC). The Stallions go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A match with a 9-4 record. In their last match, South Columbus by East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 8-5, in a non-league match.
