The La Plata Warriors baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Pallotti Panthers to 2 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Warriors (7-4) will now prepare for their match against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Leonardtown was overwhelmed by Great Mills (Great Mills, MD), 10-4, in a league match.
The Panthers (3-13) will now prepare for their match against Gerstell Academy (Finksburg, MD). The go into the MIAA B match with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Gerstell Academy gained a win over Glenelg Country (Ellicott City, MD), 9-1, in a league match.
